A nice sunny spring day at Goodwood with the XK members out for a track day. Lots of each XK species pus a few specials, an E-Type and Nigel Webb with his recreation of Mike Hawthorn's Mark 1 - first time round a track for this car! Win Percy also came

Interesting day with guests such as Stirling Moss, Jodie Kidd, Win Percy (on his first drive after his accident) and Johnny Herbert in and around the cars. Famous cars such as C-Type XKC 004 that used to be Duncan Hamilton's and D-Type XKD 505

Here we are at the fabulous Goodwood Revival yet again. 140 images of famous marques racing round the Sussex Circuit. Historic planes as well and, of course, loads of people smartly dressed for the occasion enjoying themselves

This happened to pass near my front door so I parked myself outside for a few hours and captured the entrants as they passed by. Couldn't catch everyone but a fair number are seen here (at least from those that took the route by me)

A mixed bag here of marques and models across the Classic Saloons/Historic Touring Car and Formula Ford 2000 championships. These are from Races 1, 3, 4 and 7.... Formula Ford 2000 plus the Minis mix with Mustangs, Cortinas, Jaguars, Austins and others

Newcomer Zoe North walked away from this one! In Race 5, her Jaguar 420, No 12, skimmed the concrete strip on the inside of Paddock bend, normally no problem - but the rear nearside suspension then collapsed, throwing the car into a spectacular roll ..

All sorts of Jaguar saloons represented here from a '50s MkVII and Mk 1, a '60s S-type through various flavours of the XJ6/XJ40, and an X300 then on to the current X-type providing some spectacular action

19 Big Cats squabble and show their claws fighting for the lead in this popular Jaguar World Monthly/Classic Spares championship series! No 42 (Colin Thatcher) has to be extinguished...

The Bugatti Owners Club had a drive today and passed near me so I took the opportunity to catch these grand old cars and their passengers (plus a Triumph) as they passed our local country Pub, The Sportsman.

Win Percy allowed me to take some photos of his much-loved Eagle Lightweight E-type. Anyone after a superb restoration of one of the Marque's best known sports cars could do far worse then spend their money with this company....

A superb recreation of Mike Hawthorn's Mark 1 saloon by Nigel Webb. Accurate in detail down to the numbers on the doorlocks! Here is 881 VDU (Mike's car was VDU 881). Seen in some pics with another 4.5L Mark 1 ....
