The essence of my photography is to let nature speak for itself, but out of curiosity I sometimes use effects to see how an image can change or be enhanced.

Birds Of Prey
These pictures were taken at Liberty's Owl, Raptor and Reptile Centre near Ringwood in Hampshire. It was wonderful to see these creatures being cared for so well and to see some of them in flight.

Before And After
These images are sets of trios and doubles of flowers, showing the original natural image and then the same image enhanced. The effects gained with these came from adjusting their shadows, highlights and colour temperature. Interesting to see at least.

Greyhounds
These are images of my wonderful two retired racing Greyhounds. I very much hope these photographs capture their kind, gentle and fun loving nature. On a personal note, so many of this loving breed need forever homes after their racing days are done. Consider adopting one if you can and please contact me if you would like more information.

Sway Tower / Peterson's Tower
Built in the late 1800's and standing almost 220 feet tall, it was constructed by Judge Thomas Turton Peterson using unreinforced concrete.

Whether the sun is rising or setting, the colours of the sky never cease to amaze me. I have been fortunate enough to capture some of these images from my garden and close to home.
