This series is a personal exploration of nature through the human spirit. It the result of a photographic session with a Butoh dancer. I used slide projection to create the effect. No digital manipulation was used.

Curiosity is one of the driving forces in my photography. I often take a picture because I want to see how it will come out in the final print. It's also a way of capturing and keeping a precious moment forever.

These images were taken in the Tanuki Restaurant in Bruges, Belgium. The chef, Ivan, and his team are tremendously talented, producing the best Japanese food I've ever tasted.
