A gallery of photos of landscapes from mountain ranges & coastal locations.
I've created four Collections: Mountains, Coasts & Waterfalls is the largest of them, with photos of the wild & beautiful places in the British Isles; Alpine Scenery is a collection of images of glacial landscapes from the Valais region in Switzerland and Haute-Savoie in France; Aberystwyth, which is where I went to University; Autumn Colour is the most recent, in which I've tried to capture the colour & mood of the Welsh Marches in Autumn.
So you'll find pictures of Snowdonia (including Cadair Idris, Snowdon, Tryfan), the Brecon Beacons, Pembrokeshire, other parts of Wales, the Lake District, the Highlands (Glen Coe, the Mamores, the Cairngorms, Skye, Loch Lomond), Ireland (the Burren, the Dingle Peninsula), as well as those from the Alps around the Rhone valley, Annecy and Chamonix (Glacier de Tsanfleuron, the Aigulles du Midi, La Tournette).
I'm a fairly amateur photographer, just learning the ropes really (bought a SLR last year), and I've been lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time thanks to walking these mountains for pleasure & for work. I think some of these pictures are pretty spectacular, I hope you agree.
