MAINSTAY DRP is one of Northern Ireland's leading local charities with a reputation for providing high quality, safe care and support for people with severe autism and learning disabilities and also for their families and carers. Since opening its first home "Inniscora" in 1992 MAINSTAY DRP now provides 51 people with permanent homes, 40 families benefit from respite services and 65 people attend day care services. To meet the changing needs of our clients as they grow older, MAINSTAY DRP has planned its largest development to date which will be on the Killough Road in Downpatrick. The planned development will provide 2 small residential homes which are fully accessible, respite services and day care services. Ultimately, this re-development will secure the future of our services, which are often the only life-line a person and their families have.
