This album comprises a few images which record the beginning of the journey on Day 58 of The Olympic Torch Relay. The journey began at 06:00 BST, with local surgeon Mike Stroud carrying the torch from the steps of Southampton Guildhall. Mike Practises at Spire Southampton Hospital and was nominated by his frequent companion in adventure Sir Ranulph Fiennes.
