The Westcountry has one of the most diverse landscapes in the country, from the steep cliffs battling the Atlantic gales to the country houses nestling in mild, wooded valleys. The windswept granite uplands of Dartmoor and Bodmin moor, contrast sharply with the sandy, golden beaches fringed with palm trees. This site is devoted to our photographs and accompanying explanations of this unique region in which we have the privilege to live. It is our record of many happy hours recording the country, the coast, the moors, the bird-life, the butterflies, dragonflies and flora of our Westcountry home. We hope you visit and enjoy our site at www.westcountry.co.uk
