Going in to the game 8-2 up from a storming first leg in Manchester, the MK Lightning ensured they kept daylight between them and the Phoenix without stretching themselves to far. The game finished 3-3, 11-5 on Agg.

A tame affair in the Planet Ice Shield which saw both sides giving valuable ice time to the younger members of the squad. MKL took the game 3-0.

To coin a phrase "if Carlsberg did comebacks..." - a lacklustre start saw the Lightning falter to a 0-3 deficit by the halfway point of the game. But with a never say die attitude Lightning fought back and took the game 5-4

The tone was set early in this game with a goal after 28 seconds and a fight with just over a minute gone. Cracking game from start to finish. Lightning march on with a 6-4 regulation win.
