Renaissance is an international photography competition organised by volunteers to raise money for the Lavender Trust at Breast Cancer Care. The winning images, chosen by Martin Parr, Eamonn McCabe, Charlie Waite and Brigitte Lardinois were exhibited at a celebrity gala on 24 March 2009 and Renaissance has so far raised almost £35,000 to support younger women with breast cancer. The proceeds from any image purchased from the gallery will go to the charity (first copy sold) or be split between the charity and the photographer.
